Commercial HVAC for New Construction in Fort Myers & SWFL

New construction HVAC isn’t just something we do — it’s where our roots are. Owner Randy’s first job in the HVAC industry was in new construction, and it’s the area he has continued to excel in since 1995. From the very beginning of his career, Randy has been hands-on with designing and installing HVAC systems for buildings starting from the ground up. He went on to found Extreme Temp in 2008, and new construction remains his specialty today.

For Randy, new construction is more than just a job — it’s a passion. He takes pride in building systems the right way from day one, knowing that proper planning and installation set the foundation for long-term performance, efficiency, and reliability. That same passion is carried through every new construction project at Extreme Temp, ensuring each system is built with care, precision, and the future of the building in mind.

HVAC Solutions Designed for SWFL Climate

Southwest Florida’s hot, humid climate places heavy demands on commercial HVAC systems. New construction projects must account for high cooling loads, moisture control, and energy efficiency to ensure comfort and durability over time. Our team designs HVAC systems that are optimized for Florida’s conditions, helping prevent common issues such as excess humidity, uneven cooling, and rising energy costs.

We carefully evaluate building size, layout, occupancy, and usage to create a system that delivers reliable comfort while keeping operational expenses under control. Whether your project is a retail space, office building, medical facility, or multi-use development, we tailor every system to meet local environmental demands.

Energy-Efficient Systems That Support Long-Term Savings

Energy efficiency is more than just a way to save money and help the environment. It’s a necessity for new commercial buildings in Southwest Florida. With cooling systems running most of the year, inefficient equipment can quickly drive up utility costs. We prioritize high-efficiency HVAC systems that reduce energy usage without sacrificing comfort.

Our team at Extreme Temp stays up to date on modern technologies such as variable-speed equipment, advanced controls, and zoning systems. These solutions allow building owners to better manage energy consumption while creating comfortable environments for employees, customers, and tenants.

Code Compliance and Permitting Made Simple

Navigating Florida building codes and permitting requirements can be complex, especially for new commercial construction. Our experienced HVAC professionals understand local and state regulations and ensure that your system meets all applicable codes, efficiency standards, and safety requirements.

We handle coordination with inspectors and other trades to keep your project moving forward smoothly. This proactive approach minimizes delays and helps ensure a satisfactory final inspection and occupancy approval.

Seamless Collaboration with Builders and Contractors

Successful new construction depends on teamwork. We pride ourselves on being a reliable HVAC partner for general contractors and developers throughout Southwest Florida. Our team communicates clearly, works efficiently, and adapts to evolving project needs.

By aligning our work to your construction schedule, we help keep projects on track and within budget. Our goal is to deliver an HVAC system that performs exactly as intended, without surprises after the doors open.

Built for Performance, Reliability, and Growth

A new commercial HVAC system should do more than meet today’s needs. It should be built to support future growth. We design systems with scalability and serviceability in mind, making it easier to expand, upgrade, or maintain your HVAC equipment over time.

Proper installation and system commissioning ensure optimal airflow, temperature control, and humidity management from the start. This attention to detail helps extend equipment lifespan and reduces the likelihood of costly repairs down the road.
