Contact Extreme Temp
Fort Myers' Hometown HVAC Company
Extreme Temp is locally and family owned, and we’ve been based right here in Fort Myers since 2008. Our hard work paid off in a big way: we own our building at 1621 Seaboard St, near downtown Fort Myers. It’s been our forever home since 2015, and we’re here to stay. We’re not a call center or a franchise sending crews in from out of town. We live and work here, and we’ve seen what a Fort Myers summer does to an air conditioner.
Homes here vary a lot. There are older homes near downtown and along McGregor, with ductwork and equipment that’s been patched over the years. There are condos and townhomes with tight mechanical closets and HOA rules, and newer communities off Daniels, Colonial and Gateway. We work on all of them, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense or replacement will save you money.

Condos, Older Homes & Attic Ductwork
Many Fort Myers homes have ductwork running through hot attics, and a leaky or poorly insulated duct can waste a big share of your cooling before it reaches a room. If some rooms never cool down or your bills keep climbing, we check the ductwork and airflow, not just the equipment.
For condos, we work within your association’s requirements for equipment placement and replacement.
Recent Fort Myers Job: Air Handler Relocation
On a recent Fort Myers job, the homeowner’s air handler was hanging horizontally in the garage. That setup made it hard to service and left no room for a more efficient system. We relocated it to a vertical installation, which freed up the space for a high-efficiency unit and made routine maintenance much easier going forward.
The photos below show the before and after. It’s a good example of how we approach every job: fixing the problem in front of us, and setting your system up to run better and last longer.
